ILIAS e-tutor

Description
In this blended learning seminar you will be perfectly prepared for the changing teaching/learning situation and to obtain the necessary competencies required for running blended learning scenarios. This training takes about three months and is handled as a combination of online and classroom learning phases. Experienced e-tutors will individually coach you during the entire course.

Target group
This training is aimed at lecturers that have been active in classroom trainings in the past and who now want to expand their activities to the area of e-tutor.

• Basics and types of e-learning
• Introduction in the use of the ILIAS learning platform from the trainee’s and the tutor’s point of view
• Didactic features of e-learning
• Tasks and rolls in online coaching
• Using different types of internet based tutorial materials
• Control and supervision of individual and co-operative learning processes
• Moderation of communication processes within the support of different communication media
• Dealing with typical coaching and conflict situations
• Project work: implementation of a complex scenario on the learning platform

Time required
This training is conducted as a combination of online and classroom sessions. The weekly time required is about 3-4 hours.

Certification
Qualitus GmbH issues a confirmation of participation. Optionally a certificate can be issued by an external institution (university) after passing a final examination.
